Important Notice For Patients – Coronavirus

Changes to the Way we are Working/How to Access Services

Please note that in order to protect our service, staff and patients, the main doors to the surgery remain closed. If you need medical assistance or advice please we would encourage you to submit your query via E-consult. Alternatively you can call the reception team on 01462 453 232 to book a telephone triage appointment.

Please do not attend the surgery or queue at the front door to book an appointment or to seek advice; you will be turned away and asked to phone.

Patients are encouraged to request their medication online, via the website or via the pharmacy. During this exceptional period, we are also allowing the reception team to take medication requests over the telephone. If for any reason you do need to drop off a paper prescription request, please post this in the letter box by the main door. You do not need to hand this to a member of the team.

If you have not already done so, we strongly recommend that you choose a nominated pharmacy. This will allow us to send your prescription electronically to your nominated pharmacy and you will not have to attend the surgery to collect this.

The majority of consultations during this period will be undertaken remotely via telephone or video consult.

If you have been asked to attend the surgery for a face to face appointment, please ensure that you arrive at the requested time wearing a face covering. Patients who are not shielding are asked to ring the doorbell at the main entrance. You will be met by a member of the team to have your temperature checked before entering the building. Please note that the staff member will be wearing gloves and a face mask for their protection; please do not be alarmed.

Thank you for your co-operation and patience during this period.
