Appointments

To cancel your appointment:

• use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app)
• use your Systmonline account
• phone us, Monday to Friday, when we are open
• visit your usual surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, when we are open
• complete an online form on this website

Our health professionals team for the North Herts Extended Access Service consists of GP’s, Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

If you would like to make an appointment in the Extended Access Service, please call us and we will arrange this appointment for you.

Appointments are available through our Extended Access Service between the following times:

• 6.30pm and 8pm on weekdays,
• 9am and 5pm on Saturdays

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Walk-in Centres

NHS walk-in centres provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses seven days a week. You do not need an appointment and will be seen by an experienced NHS nurse.

Please tell us:

• If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond.
• If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email.
• If you need an interpreter.
• If you have any other access or communication needs.

If you are bedbound or terminally ill and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need. To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone your usual practice before 10.30am as possible.
